Sessahly and James were wed in an intimate courthouse ceremony surrounded by family this winter. Their love and commitment to one another shone through in their sweet ceremony. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I was so thrilled to be able to capture these two's wedding because of their fun personalities and the love they share.
We started off the day with family and couples photos. The couple expressed how much they love candid moments and active photographs. These types of photos are my absolute favorite to capture as they show so much personality and true emotion in them.
There is something so special about ceremonies surrounded by only a small group of your closest family members. These tend to be some of my favorite weddings because of the low-stress and pure excitement of the guests. To know every single one of your guests knows you deeply, and cares for your relationship is so special.
The two's ceremony went quickly and was ended with so many hugs and congratulations. Their girls were so happy and proud, and so was their family. Once again, this was a ceremony I just couldn't stop smiling during!
After the ceremony, S+J and I went to Wilke Glen and Cascade Falls in Osceola, WI. This was a special place for the couple as they had their engagement photos taken here. This was also one of the rare places that still had snow that weekend! Between the frozen waterfall and the fluffy snow, this scene seemed like it came straight from Narnia.
As we were walking up the steps to go back to our cars, James noticed a denture that had fallen below the steps! An absolutely hilarious end to an amazing wedding day. Congrats to Sessahly and James on your beautiful marriage! (and to the poor person who lost their dentures, I'm so sorry!!)
