On one warm summer day, a couple hundred of Eryn and Matthew's closest friends and family gathered together at the scenic Pinewood Weddings & Events venue in Cambridge, Minnesota.

Eryn & Matthew's much-anticipated wedding started out with the ladies getting ready in the venue's bridal suite. The crisp whites and bright windows perfectly reflected the excitement that buzzed around the room.

Soon enough, it was time for a few first looks—first with Eryn's bridesmaids and then with her dad. Matthew would have to wait to see his bride down the aisle. After some portraits of the men and then the ladies, Eryn and Matthew shared a private time to read their vows and pray together, positioned back-to-back so Matthew wouldn't see his bride.

The group had a short break, and then it was time for one of the most fun ceremonies I've ever witnessed! Eryn & Matthew had a bridal party of 20 people, so they replaced the traditional processional with sending the party down in larger groups that threw leis, beads, wands, and flags out to guests. They even had two groomsmen shooting bubble guns!

After the ceremony concluded, we gathered the wedding party and family together for a few more portraits and then had a short couple's session. Soon after, it was time for the grand entrance (which was nearly as fun as the ceremony procession). Immediately after the grand entrance, Eryn and Matthew shared their first dance. After dinner, it was time for more dancing; let me tell you, these two and their people know how to DANCE!

Once the sun started setting, we snuck out for a few minutes to capture some golden hour portraits. This was such a sweet moment for the couple to take in what just happened—they got MARRIED!

Once we returned to the reception, it was time for the silent disco! If you've never been to a silent disco before, you absolutely must go. There is nothing that will amuse you more than taking your headphones off and hearing people dancing and singing to music you can't hear!

It was truly a blessing to capture Eryn and Matthew’s wedding. The love and joy they share is radiant, and witnessing the Lord’s plan unfold in their lives was an incredible honor. Here’s to the start of their beautiful journey in marriage—cheers to married life!
