On a crisp, rainy day in October, Lynnea and Stetler exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony celebrating love, commitment, and family. The beautiful Veranda Room at Lake Elmo Inn set the scene perfectly. Between the massive glass windows, warm brick accents, and rainy weather, it couldn't have been a more dreamy wedding.
Lynnea and Stetler shared a first touch before their ceremony, and you could feel the excitement in the air. After giving them a moment to read their vows privately, the ceremony began. Stetler and his brothers arranged a surprise "sprucing up" as he walked down the aisle. This was such a hilarious touch to the ceremony--commemorating their brotherly love perfectly.
The intimate ceremony was complimented with rope-tying and ring warming ceremonies. Lynnea's grandfather was their officiant, and the sweet looks from the two's families were only dampened by tears.
After the ceremony, Lynnea and Stetler went right into their first dance--an absolutely delightful end to their ceremony and start to their reception. During the reception, the two signed the marriage certificate and cut their delicious bundt cake (I am such a sucker for bundt cakes and non-traditional wedding desserts!)
After dinner (it was scrumptious), we began family photos. Family photos can be one of the more tiring parts of wedding days, but not for this newly united family! It was so much fun getting to know the family more throughout these photos, and we ended the session by throwing the bride in the air (at her new brothers-in-law's request of course!)
Since the day was a bit rainy, I brought along a clear umbrella to keep the couple dry (plus it's just ridiculously cute in photos). We also found a beautiful veranda to keep out of the rain while capturing their portraits!
A couple days later, I reunited with Lynnea and Stetler to get some golden hour photos on a clear day. It was such a joy to get together again with these two, and they looked just as good as they did on their wedding day!
Congrats you two, you have such a beautiful marriage ahead of you!
